Dory Leifer, Venture Advisor

Dory Leifer brings technical, entrepreneurial and consulting background to Hidden River.
Dory was a co-founder and CEO of PublicPort, a network equipment company sold to Tut Systems (now Motorola) in 1999.

Dory has extensive technical consulting experience with technology and telecom service firms including Cisco, Lucent and AT&T. He has provided expert testimony in high-profile intellectual property cases. He has either authored or contributed to several IETF Internet standards.

From 1988 until 1997, Dory has held a technical staff appointment with the University of Michigan and Merit Network and has been an innovator on both the research and network operation side. Dory chairs the Telecom Committee for the Keiretsu Forum angel network. 

He received a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S.E in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
